01/06/10 Main Issues Report Package
Consultation
The SESplan Core Team has continued to work
collaboratively with the Partner Authorities, Key Agencies
and Stakeholders to deliver the best possible Plan for South
East Scotland. The first step in this process is now complete,
with the production of the Main Issues Report (MIR) Package
and related background documents.
The package (MIR, a Monitoring Statement
(MS), and Interim Environmental Report) is now the subject
of public consultation. Background Technical Notes providing
supporting information on Economy, Green Networks, Housing
and Infrastructure have also been prepared
The formal consultation period commences
on Monday 31st May 2010 for a 12 week period until Friday
27th August 2010.
All documents are available to download from
our consultation
website.
Hardcopies of the documents can also be viewed
at all libraries and Council Planning Reception across the
SESplan area.
Hardcopies of the MIR, MS and Interim Environmental
Report are available to purchase by contacting contactus@sesplan.gov.uk
or by calling 0131 524 5165. Please note that only cash or
cheque can be accepted as means of payment. Prices of the
documents are as follows:
- MIR: £10 + P&P
- MS: £15 + P&P
- Interim Environmental Report: £15 + P&P
You can submit written comments on any of
the 3 consultation documents and your answers to the questions
in the MIR by post to:

09/04/10 Development Plan Scheme

The SESplan Joint Committee on 25 January
approved the second Development Plan Scheme (DPS) for the
Strategic Development Plan. It sets out the programme for
preparing, reviewing and consulting on the SDP. Copies of
the DPS have been submitted to Scottish Ministers and will
be placed in local libraries and planning receptions throughout
the SESplan area. You can also download
a copy of the Development Plan Scheme 2 (pdf, 1.7mb)

Assessment
It is easy to join and become member of the
South East Scotland Housing Market Partnership and access
the consultative report:
- Register and become a member of Community
of Practice
- Once you are registered, search for the South
East Scotland Housing Market Partnership
- Click Apply to Join
- Follow the instructions on screen
- You will be informed by email once your membership to
the South East Scotland
- Housing Market Partnership is authorised
- You can now access the report and can use the forum function
to raise any questions or discussion regarding the report
